The active ingredient in Wegovy is Semaglutide. Semaglutide belongs to a class of GLP-1 medications which contributes to reducing hunger pangs, slowing gastric emptying, and increasing insulin production. The active ingredient in Mounjaro is Tirzepatide. This has a similar effect; decreasing food intake and slowing gastric emptying.

If your treatment is followed correctly and you adopt lifestyle changes (healthier eating and exercise) you can lose up to 15% to 20% of your bodyweight in a 17-month period. Results are dependent on the treatment you choose, as clinical studies show varying results per treatment type.

To ensure safe supply, we ask patients to meet our eligibility requirements for injectable weight loss medications. Our eligibility are as follows:

Our clinical team will check in regularly with you via email to see how you are progressing with treatment. Towards the end of your first month, you will receive reminder emails with instructions on how to re-order your next dose. You will be directed to a shorter clinical consultation designed to assess how you are getting on with your treatment and whether or not you need a dosage adjustment. For optimal results, we encourage patients to take a long term view of this treatment on a monthly basis until you reach your weight loss goal.
